چکیده
This paper establishes the Cournot-Bertrand duopoly game models with bounded rationality expectations under assumption that players are fair-minded agents who may adopt delay decision. The existence and local stability of equilibrium points investigated. effects key parameters on long-term dynamical evolution process investigated by numerical simulation. Furthermore, performance is examined using average profit utility indexes. results reveal excessively fast adjustment speeds higher fairness concern coefficients have a strong destabilizing impact system's stability. product differentiation degree strategy be stabilizing or factors for game, which indicates an appropriate weight conducive to system preserving its In addition, when falls into periodic cycles chaotic motions, change trends players' elevate decline depending specific parameter conditions. Therefore, chaos does not always necessarily detrimental all in game.

Complex Dynamics of a Continuous Bertrand Duopoly Game Model with Two-Stage Delay
Abstract: This paper studies a continuous Bertrand duopoly game model with two-stage delay. Our aim is to investigate the influence of delay and weight on the complex dynamic characteristics of the system. We obtain the bifurcation point of the system respect to delay parameter by calculating. In addition, the dynamic properties of the system are simulated by power spectrum, attractor, bifurcat...
متن کاملDuopoly Information Equilibrium: Cournot and Bertrand
Consider a symmetric differentiated duopoly model in which firms have private market data about the uncertain demand. We analyze two types of duopoly information equilibrium, Cournot and Bertrand, which emerge, respectively, from quantity and price competition, and show that the incentives for information sharing and its welfare consequences depend crucially on the type of competition, the natu...
متن کاملNonlinear Dynamics of Cournot Duopoly Game with Social Welfare
This paper explores the idea of cournot duopoly with homogenous expectations in a context of bounded rationality, where two semipublic firms endeavor to maximize the weighted average of social welfare and their own profit. The stability analysis of the fixed points are analyzed and complex dynamic features including period doubling bifurcations of the unique Nash equilibrium is also investigate...
متن کاملNonlinear dynamics in the Cournot duopoly game with heterogeneous players
We analyze a nonlinear discrete-time Cournot duopoly game, where players have heterogeneous expectations. Two types of players are considered: boundedly rational and naive expectations. In this study we show that the dynamics of the duopoly game with players whose beliefs are heterogeneous, may become complicated. The model gives more complex chaotic and unpredictable trajectories as a conseque...
متن کاملComplex Dynamics of Bertrand Duopoly Games with Bounded Rationality
Abstract—A dynamic of Bertrand duopoly game is analyzed, where players use different production methods and choose their prices with bounded rationality. The equilibriums of the corresponding discrete dynamical systems are investigated. The stability conditions of Nash equilibrium under a local adjustment process are studied. The stability conditions of Nash equilibrium under a local adjustment...
